Fertility Associates is New Zealand’s leading provider of fertility diagnosis, support and treatment. Our three treatment clinics and peripheral consultation clinics have the common goal of providing the most successful outcomes for you.

Our doctors, scientists, nurses and counsellors are among the very best in their field, bringing their expertise and compassion to help you in your quest for parenthood.

Fertility Associates’ original doctors were Freddie Graham (right) and Richard Fisher (below) who introduced in vitro fertilisation (IVF) to New Zealand in the early 1980s.

Freddie and Richard are still actively involved in the organisation today and they have been joined by a wide group of experienced reproductive medicine specialists to ensure the provision of publicly funded and private fertility services throughout the North Island.

Today Fertility Associates is the largest fertility services provider in New Zealand with four main clinics in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch. Some treatments are also provided locally in Auckland’s North Shore and Palmerston North. Specialists from these base clinics consult regularly in Whangarei, North Shore Auckland, East Auckland, West Auckland, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Palmerston North and Nelson.

Within New Zealand Fertility Associates has pioneered many technical and social advances. These firsts have included successful embryo freezing, egg freezing, sperm microinjection and fertility checks like ‘Egg Check’. Our social advances include identifiable sperm donors and a focus on parenting after infertility and identification of donors to all children on their becoming adults.

Publicly funded treatment can be provided if you meet the eligibility criteria.
