Fertility Associates now in Christchurch
Fertility Associates Ltd are pleased to announce that they will be taking over the Repromed fertility business in Christchurch following Repromed Australia’s decision to withdraw from the New Zealand market. Repromed invited Fertility Associates, New Zealand’s leading provider of fertility services, to buy the business which completed on 16th September.
Patients and referrers will not notice any immediate difference in the service and care they receive other than some benefits that New Zealand’s leading fertility provider can bring. Fertility Associates is doctor-led and is a wholly New Zealand-owned business.
The principals of the Christchurch practice, including Dr Greg Phillipson, the Medical Director of the Christchurch clinic, approached Fertility Associates as a preferred partner who will be able to offer and continue to support a high level of care. Dr Phillipson says that the transition will be seamless for patients and referrers. “We are thrilled with this outcome and want to assure patients that it will be business as usual,” he said.
As part of the process, Dr Phillipson will become a shareholder in Fertility Associates and is looking forward to sharing the knowledge and experience of the clinical team in New Zealand. “Fertility Associates has alliances with leading research organisations such as the Liggins Institute and the Universities of Auckland and Victoria, we are delighted that our patients and staff will have the wonderful opportunities that this association can bring,” he said. “We currently treat around 400 women a year for various fertility issues and this number is growing as the age of women having a baby increases. We will be at the leading edge of New Zealand and international technology,” he said.

The clinic is open weekdays 8:00am–5.00pm.
On weekends 9.00am–12.00pm, by appointment
only. Scans are carried out in the morning. If we have been unable to phone you with your blood
test results by 4.00pm, please phone the nurses before 5.00pm and leave a message on their
answer phone with your contact details.
