Fertility New Zealand Conference, Saturday 20 June 2009

Fertility New Zealand are running a whole day conference for people who wish to find out more about infertility and all the options available. We will
have Allyson Gofton, ambassador for Nurture and well-known mother of 3 IVF children, as our guest speaker, as well as Professor Peter Gluckman, a world expert on peri-conceptual health. Professor Gluckman will describe how your health around the time of conception not only influences your chance of pregnancy, but also the health of your children into adulthood and old age.

Workshops will include, amongst others:
  • Alternative Family Building (donor sperm, donor egg, surrogacy) and recruiting donors and building relationships
  • Adoption and Fostering with CYFS
  • Alternative Medicine Panel— Acupunturist, Naturopath, Osteopath and Nutritionist
  • Grief, Coping and Moving On
  • The Latest Research on infertility from Nurture

There will also be representation from:
  • The Women’s Bookshop
  • Natural Fertility
  • Nurture
  • The Donor Conception Network
 
Fertility NZ hope the day will provide the opportunity to find the answers to all the questions you may have as well as giving the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation to yourself from your town or area.
