Simon’s areas of interest include the application of advanced ultrasound technology to infertility management, in vitro maturation of immature oocytes collected from unstimulated ovaries, and fertility preservation. Simon graduated in Obstetrics and Gynaecology both in Auckland and the United Kingdom.

Dr Phill McChesney

Phill is approachable, down-to-earth and enjoys an excellent rapport with his patients. He has extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of fertility. Phill’s areas of specialty include infertility, fertility preservation and advanced gynaecological surgery. He is a trained tubal microsurgeon and performs reversal of tubal sterilizations and vasectomies. Phill also has a special interest in male fertility.
Phill has undertaken 3 years of advanced training in fertility, reproductive endocrinology and minimally invasive surgery, which makes him one of the few fertility specialists in New Zealand to complete the RANZCOG CREI subspecialist qualification. He is now also a member of the CREI subspecialty committee and Endometriosis New Zealand Special Interest Group.
Phill has held a private pilot’s license since high school and enjoys recreational flying and spending time with family in his spare time.

Dr Olivia Stuart

Olivia is of Ngapuhi, Ngati Kahungunu descent and is the only Maori female fertility Subspecialist in New Zealand.
Olivia is one of the few in NZ to have completed CREI Subspecialist training, and Australiasian group of fertility Subspecialists who are leaders in fertility and develop guidelines for the care of fertility patients. Olivia specialises in fertility preservation, fertility and gynaecological ultrasound and surgery and male infertility.
Olivia is also very passionate about the provision of healthcare to those with reduced access, both at home, doing clinics in Northland, as well as overseas in developing countries and has volunteered in Ethiopia and Vietnam.
As well as her fertility and gynaecology private practice at FA, Olivia practices Private obstetrics through Birthright. Her spare time is spent with her tamariki, her whanau and huskies.

Dr Sunil Pillay

Sunil is an experienced fertility specialist and gynaecologist with particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, involving enhancing fertility outcomes. He also has extensive training in advanced endometriosis and gynaecological surgery. Sunil also specialises in complex fertility preservation surgery. Focused and caring, Sunil tailors individualised fertility treatment plans to deliver the best outcomes for his patients.
Sunil's extensive experience in complex surgical procedures is an advantage for those experiencing infertility due to gynaecological disorders. He has completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at National Women's Hospital and has more than 20 years experience in fertility and IVF.
In his spare time Sunil volunteers his services to educate GPs in developing countries to deliver practical fertility and gynaecological services. As well as enjoying the odd run with his local YMCA running club.
