  • Alex Price


    Alex has a degree in Chemical Engineering, an MBA from IMD (Institute for Management Development) in Switzerland and a Graduate Certificate in Reproductive Medicine through the University of New South Wales.

    As Chief Executive, Alex is responsible for the overall operations and continued development of Fertility Associates in New Zealand and Malaysia. Alex joined Fertility Associates in 2007, after working in Europe and Japan with the management consulting firms A.T. Kearney and Boston Consulting Group covering pharmaceuticals and healthcare.

    Alex's early career was spent in the NZ dairy industry working in protein chemistry and development. He is also Chair of Shorecare.

  • Dr Simon Kelly

    Medical Director, Fertility Associates Auckland


    Simon’s areas of interest include the application of advanced ultrasound technology to infertility management, in vitro maturation of immature oocytes collected from unstimulated ovaries, and fertility preservation. Simon graduated in Obstetrics and Gynaecology both in Auckland and the United Kingdom.

    Simon also has a both a private fertility and gynaecology practice based at Fertility Associates Auckland, and enjoys tramping in the Coromandel in his spare time.

  • Dr Ved Prakash (VP) Singh

    Medical Director, Hamilton


    VP is a fertility specialist with extensive clinical experience across all aspects of fertility including gynaecological surgical procedures.

    As Medical Director he informs the scientific and treatment direction for the Fertility Associates group, introduces new leading technology and oversees all clinical procedures at our Hamilton clinic.

    He also has special interest in endometriosis surgery, operative laparoscopy and pelvic floor surgery.

    Before coming to NZ in 1996 VP was part of the pioneering team credited with introducing IVF treatment into India at the Human Reproduction Research Centre at K E M Hospital, Bombay.

    VP graduated from the University of Bombay with a medical degree at King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth G S Medical College in India in 1988.

    VP enjoys spending time with his family and is an active cyclist on the weekends.

  • Dr Richard Fisher

    Fertility Specialist & Founder


    A leader and pioneer of fertility within New Zealand.   Richard was involved in IVF in New Zealand at its beginning, and co-founded Fertility Associates in the early 1987.  Since this time he has become the foremost spokesperson on infertility issues, and was the only New Zealander to be President of the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA).   In December 2009, Richard was recognised in the New Year Honours as a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to medicine. 

    Richard is vastly experienced across all aspects of infertility including genetic screening, preservation and the latest IVF treatment technologies.  Richard graduated from Otago, followed by postgraduate training in New Zealand, London, Poole and Oxford in Britain.
