Angela Seaton

Laboratory Team Leader

MAgrSci

Having worked in embryology for over 25 years, Angela offers a breadth of experience as Laboratory Team Leader at our Wellington clinic.

Angela completed her masters degree in Agricultural Science at Massey University in 1991 before moving to London. During her 14 years in the UK she worked in several different fertility centres, mostly as Laboratory Manager, and has experience of running satellite clinics, egg-sharing programmes, and designing laboratories. She was the first person in the UK to freeze eggs in a clinical setting. After London, Angela worked for Monash IVF in Melbourne before joining Fertility Associates in 2008.

Angela has kept an interest in egg freezing, vitrification, and new technologies during her time at Fertility Associates.

Outside of work,  Angela likes striding about the Wellington hills with her family, sampling craft beer and taking the occasional refreshing dip in the harbour.
