In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is used to overcome a wide range of fertility issues and for many couples it gives the best chance of having a baby.

 

IVF Cycle

One review consultation with a doctor following treatment, OR early pregnancy care is included. Please refer to our Donor Treatment Fees guide if you are using donor sperm or eggs. IVF treatment costs include six months’ storage of eggs, sperm or embryos.

  • Once we have dispensed medications to you, we cannot provide a refund. If you have leftover medications we can accept them for disposal, but unfortunately, we cannot reuse them, and we cannot reimburse the cost you have incurred.
  • Medications can be costly, so we try to issue only what is needed until the next blood test.
  • Medications are to be paid for at the time you pick them up from the clinic, or before medications are couriered.

  • To be paid within 14 days of invoice.

 Non-IVF Treatments

  • Treatment cycles are invoiced on Day 1 of treatment and the account is to be paid prior to insemination (IUI) or scan (Clomiphene or Letrozole).

 IVF Treatment

  • IVF Treatment cycles are invoiced on the first day of treatment.
  • For your convenience we have three ways in which you can pay for your IVF treatment.

1  SPLIT PAYMENT

You pay $8,000 at the time you pick up your medications. The balance is due on the day of your trigger injection.

2  ADVANCE PAYMENT

At the start of your cycle, we will send you an estimate of your treatment costs. You pay this at the time you pick up your medications. At the end of your cycle we refund any overpayment, or send you an invoice for any additional costs. We expect 80% of people will receive refunds. Advance payment includes a $100 fee reduction as a thank you for using this option.

3  FERTILITY COVER

You pay a single upfront fee covering up to three cycles of IVF over an 18 month period. If treatment does not result in a live birth after the three cycles, you will receive a 70% refund. Please contact your clinic for further information regarding this option before starting treatment.

The chance of pregnancy is dependent on many factors, as explained in our Pathway to a Child magazine – there is no refund if you do not become pregnant, unless you are paying under our ‘Fertility Cover’ option (see above).

• The medications cannot be refunded once they have been issued to you.

  


 

Donor Treatment Fees

Donor fees are in addition to treatment cycle fees. Please use this guide along with the current Treatment
Fees (listed above) to understand the costs of a donor treatment cycle. 

Counselling

All donors, surrogates and intending parent(s), are required to attend at least one counselling consultation. The first counselling
consultation for donors and surrogates is included in the donor costs outlined below. Additional counselling consultations are paid
by the intending parent(s).

  • Additional counselling consultations incur a cost of $165 per consultation. 
Donor Treatment Costs 

Donor Addition fees include: Semen analysis (male), AMH test (female), blood tests for infectious diseases and saliva test for three commonly inherited genetic conditions: Cystic Fibrosis, Fragile X Syndrome and Spinal Muscular Atrophy; medical consultation(s) for the donor and counselling for the donor and recipient.

Medical Consultations:
- Egg donors and surrogates receive two medical consultations, one prior to treatment and one following.
- Sperm donors receive one medical consultation.

Counselling Consultations:
- All donors, surrogates and intending parent(s) attend at least one counselling consultation each.
- Up to three counselling consultations are included in the donor or surrogacy addition fee. There is no refund if you use less than three consultations.
- Additional counselling consultations are paid by the intending parent(s).

Additional donors: A “work-up” fee will apply if you are using a personal egg or sperm donor or surrogate; and would like to screen more than one potential party.

Charged per cycle: Please note donor and surrogacy addition and donor reimbursement fees are charged per cycle, at the time of treatment, not per donor or surrogate.

** Subsequent cycle fee applies to additional cycles occurring within 6 months of the first cycle, using the same donor as the 1st cycle and no further doctor consultations or counselling is required.
