- You will be invoiced at each of the 3 stages.
- For your convenience, we have three ways in which you can pay for your IVF treatment.

1 Staged payment
Stage 1: Medication and monitoring invoiced when your individualised treatment plan is confirmed and must be paid before medication can be issued.
Stage 2: Stage Egg collection and embryology – due to be paid before egg collection.
Stage 3: Embryo transfer – invoiced on the day of transfer. Payment is required on the same day
2 Pre-payment: pay upfront.
You can pay upfront for Stages 1, 2 & 3, as per your estimate. We will refund any over payment or invoice additional costs at the end of your cycle.
3 Fertility cover
Pay a single up-front fee covering up to three cycles of IVF over an 18 month period. If treatment does not result in a live birth after the three cycles, you will receive a 70% refund. More here
Notes about payment
• Prices are in NZ dollars and include GST. Prices may be subject to change without further notice.
• Payment can be made by cash, direct debit or credit card. Or Q Card.
• The chance of pregnancy is dependent on many factors, as explained in our Pathway to a Child magazine – there is no refund if you do not become pregnant unless you are paying under our ‘Fertility Cover’ option (see above).
• The medications cannot be refunded once they have been issued to you.
Donor Treatment Fees
Donor fees are in addition to treatment cycle fees. Please use this guide along with the current Treatment
Fees (listed above) to understand the costs of a donor treatment cycle.
Counselling
All donors, surrogates and intending parent(s), are required to attend at least one counselling consultation. The first counselling
consultation for donors and surrogates is included in the donor costs outlined below. Additional counselling consultations are paid
by the intending parent(s).
- Additional counselling consultations incur a cost of $180 per consultation.
Donor Treatment Costs
Sperm Donor Addition fees include for the donor: Semen analysis (male), blood tests for infectious diseases and Comprehensive Genetic Testing (556 genes). Medical consultation(s) and counselling for the donor, Medical Director approval and sperm banking.
Medical Consultations:
- Egg donors and surrogates receive two medical consultations, one prior to treatment and one following.
- Sperm donors receive one medical consultation.
Counselling Consultations:
- All donors, surrogates and intending parent(s) attend at least one counselling consultation each.
- Up to three counselling consultations are included in the egg donor or surrogacy addition fee. There is no refund if you use less than three consultations.
- Additional counselling consultations are paid by the intending parent(s).
Additional donors: A “work-up” fee will apply if you are using a personal egg or sperm donor or surrogate; and would like to screen more than one potential party.
Charged per cycle: Please note donor and surrogacy addition and donor reimbursement fees are charged per cycle, at the time of treatment, not per donor or surrogate.
